There was an accident at sea and it tore our ship apart. The sound of breaking wood and the screams, they shook us to the core. Almost half of us are trapped inside the wreck but the other half were hurled overboard and pushed into the deep, like me. The power of the explosion wiped out my conscience for one, two seconds. As I opened my eyes I saw, and wished I didn't see, the shipwreck going down. Going down slowly in a swirl of pain, supplies, iron and boxes, of timber and fabric, belongings and flesh and in millions of bubbles, machines and important devices. It all seems so small and useless right now, at this moment, today, in these crucial hours. Some of us made it out and we are heading up again! We're breaking the surface! We are breaking the surface! The air is filled with smoke and sparks, but I breathe in the night. My blood is rushing through my veins so fast, I am injured but alive! Our brothers need us now more than ever, we won't leave 'em, we won't stop breathing. Our brothers need us now more than ever and we won't ever leave 'em and we won't stop breathing.

I don’t remember how I got here or what happened, I just woke up on a piece of wood in the water, that could once have been a door. A woman I have never seen before is holding me tightly and talking to me insistently. She tells me, there has been an incident and we got shipwrecked, she pulled me out and saved my life. But her words hardly get to me, I am too confused by the dreams I had while I was out. I had while I was out. I saw a shuttle and a time machine and lots of foreign faces, trussing me up to a chair, yelling at me. The ship was shaking, we were falling pretty fast, it seemed. But I woke up before we crashed. I take a look around, we’re out on the open sea. And we’re floating amongst twenty to thirty people. They all look like they’ve had way better days. Some are crying, some are bleeding but they are alive and breathing and that is the only thing that counts. The only thing that is important now. We gotta hold together, now more than ever. I can hear them asking for my name. I can’t answer, I’m looking down on me. There’s a name tag on my jacket: “Passenger 1923”. So this is who I have to be. Meanwhile, two days have passed and we are tired, getting hungry. The next night is coming down upon us. Meanwhile, three days have passed and we are tired, getting colder. The next night is coming down on us. Meanwhile, four days have passed and we are tired, getting weaker. The next night is going to be hard. In the distance, I see lights and they are coming closer. It’s another ship and it’s coming directly towards us. This is our rescue, I can’t wait to get on board and back to the mainland! We will finally be saved. We are finding new hope.

Finding our way, our way back home! This is our last night on the open sea. This is our way back home! Even if the way is long and even if we're all alone. We put all our trust into the stars to guide us through the dark. We put all our trust into the stars to guide us to... ...our way back home. Our way back home! The waves crash against the walls. The wood is brittle and old but this ship was made for perfect storms and rough days and stormy nights. This ship will take us to our homes, facing its last fight. We're crossing an ocean towards the lighthouse. We will follow the light... home. Leading us home. This is our way to the shore - safely through the sea. Even if the shadows soar, a light is guiding me. We're holding on to this life! We're holding on!

Holding On 04:23
It has been a year since the accident at sea, where we lost so much and so many, as I realized a certain penchant for technicality. I still have no memories before that day, but for now, I walk the earth as Joseph, a name I chose for myself. We all have been holding on, so strong and relentless, to the ones we loved. So I started gathering survivors for an idea I came up with. I had drawn the blueprint for a machine like there had never been before. Now we’ve been working hard for several months on the prototype of this machine. Engineers, architects, some of the passengers of our ship. Carrying on is not easy when all you belong to lie at the bottom of the sea. We decided that we won’t give up on ourselves and do anything in our power to regain our lives. Carbon fibre reinforced carbon for the outer shell, triple paned windows of fused silica and alumino-silicate. This one is made to last. A masterpiece. It fits at least 2000 people. This is going to change everything. We built a time machine inside a spacecraft. We will be changing directions.
