So this is how it feels to die.
I always imagined it way more peaceful.
So this is how it feels to drown. Hell must be heaven compared to this.

A thousand burning needles find their way into my lungs, the white-hot pain is keeping me awake.
I throw up and breathe in again.
The pain is overwhelming, I go insane.

I see my life flashing before my eyes.
Not much of a fulfilled life.
There are so many things I regret.
We always know better in the end.

I spent so many years holding on to this life.
Now it's even harder to admit that I’ll die.

Oh, I can't believe I’ll die this way!
I can't believe I’ll die today!

But the process is almost complete, I can already feel my limbs becoming useless.
I take one more breath and this one’s my final.
My mind and body split up in agony.
Oh my god, this is like getting skinned alive fully conscious, metaphorically speaking.
I feel myself being seperated from this sinking shell, I used to call my body.

This was the last time I have ever seen my face.

The captain goes down with his ship.
This body has become one with the sea.

and this body will soon become sea foam.

While my remains are rotting away,
I become their reflection.
While my remains sink down into the sea,
I am changing directions!
