We are too deep now to be saved, we must accept our fate.
Still trapped between these wooden planks,
everything else: washed away.

We are losing our hope.
We are losing our faith.

It's been hours since we ran out of air, at least in my head.
Losing all hope!

Through a crack in the sidewall I can see into the blue
and a part of the wreck and a lot of my people in black and blue.
I see them twitching, I see them struggling, I see them ceasing,
I see them fighting for their lives.

We won't ever get home again.

We are too deep down to be saved, accepting our fate.
A greasy engine room is now going to be my grave.
I never thought that life could turn its back on us like this.
My brothers drowned like flies in soup, there's nothing I can change.

The first mate tries to break the planks which keep me trapped.
Clearly at his limits, shaking in need of air.
He takes a deep breath and he's floating away.
This picture is burnt deep into my mind:
Hollow eyes!

There is nobody left, there is no-one left but me.
This is the hardest part; I admit defeat!
