There was an accident at sea and it tore my ship apart.
The sound of breaking wood and the screams, they shook us to the core.
Almost half of us were hurled overboard and pushed into the deep, but
the other half is trapped inside the wreck, like me.

I am not sure about the entire magnitude right now.
But the thing is, I am trapped in my stateroom and it’s filling up with water;
through a hand-sized crack in the planks, where a picture of my family used to be.
The salty cold just passed my knees - it’s raising fast.

Panic raises in the same velocity.

Oh my god, it’s almost at my neck, I am so cold!
My fingers started twitching, almost like I lost control.
Clumsily I fight my way to the bulls-eye and take a look outside…

Reaching the bottom.
As the wreck hits the sand, 50 meters deep, a quake goes through the sea.
And the noise of damaged wood like a dying mans last groan.
I lie at the bottom of the sea, dished up for death.
There is no chance of rescue to be seen, we are holding our breath.
