I don’t remember how I got here or what happened, I just woke up on a piece of wood in the water, that could once have been a door.
A woman I have never seen before is holding me tightly and talking to me insistently.
She tells me, there has been an incident and we got shipwrecked, she pulled me out and saved my life.
But her words hardly get to me, I am too confused by the dreams I had while I was out.

I saw a shuttle and a time machine and lots of foreign faces, trussing me up to a chair, yelling at me.
The ship was shaking, we were falling pretty fast, it seemed. But I woke up before we crashed.
I take a look around, we’re out on the open sea. And we’re floating amongst twenty to thirty people. They all look like they’ve had way better days. Some are crying, some are bleeding but they are alive and breathing and that is the only thing that counts. The only thing that is important now. We gotta hold together, now more than ever.
I can hear them asking for my name. I can’t answer, I’m looking down on me.
There’s a name tag on my jacket: “Passenger 1923”. So this is who I have to be.
Meanwhile, two days have passed and we are tired, getting hungry.
The next night is coming down upon us.
Meanwhile, three days have passed and we are tired, getting colder.
The next night is coming down on us.
Meanwhile, four days have passed and we are tired, getting weaker.
The next night is going to be hard.

In the distance, I see lights and they are coming closer.
It’s another ship and it’s coming directly towards us.
This is our rescue, I can’t wait to get on board and back to the mainland!
We will finally be saved.
We are finding new hope.
